The area was not connected to the national grid, and residents were expected to pay a large sum to have the power infrastructure extended to their homes.
Despite some neighbors paying for the service, Kenya Power and Lighting Company (KPLC) delayed the installation, causing significant frustration.
To avoid the inconvenience and ensure her parents had access to reliable power, the client opted for a solar solution.

Project Overview
After a lenghtly phone call with the client, we were able to understand her family’s energy needs, Voltmatic Energy Solutions designed a solar power system tailored to the household’s requirements.
